This drawing was part of the Arusha Gallery Exercise Three exhibition and from my Lochnagar series 2019/2020. It evolved from in-situ sketches of rocks leading to the waterfall overlooking Loch Muick, part of the Lochnagar munro walk in the Cairngorms. 

This work will be on sale at the Borders Art Fair in March 2022 as part of the Society of Scottish Artists small works stand. Keep up to date on their instagram here.

Exercise Three was an online exhibition project launched by Arusha Gallery March-June 2020:

"In light of current restrictions, we wanted to find a way to continue to extend our platform of support, showcase our artists and strengthen and inspire our community. As such, we are delighted to announce the launch of online project Exercise Three.

The project sees artists answer a worksheet, homework you could call it, with questions, ranging from superstitions and recipes to drawing prompts and favourite dance songs. Artists are invited to share a little bit about themselves and their practice, before being tasked with exercise three - an A5 drawing challenge."
