Cromarty, The Black Isle

In March 2023 I was resident artist with Cromarty Arts Trust as part of the RSA Residencies for Scotland. The Royal Scottish Academy say this about the award:

"The RSA Residencies for Scotland forges important networks with centres of artistic excellence across Scotland, ranging from traditional residency venues to specialised production facilities. Open to visual artists at all stages of their careers, the emphasis is on enabling a preiod of research, development and production, as well as on rhe acquisition and exchange of new skills and experiences."

Living on the Black Isle, exploring the land and meeting other artists was a fantastic experience, and I'm just at the beginning of exploring the research that has come from it.
