This piece is a continuation of my Lochnagar series 2019-2021. 

It evolved from in-situ sketches of the rocky cliff face of Lochnagar in the Cairngorms, and the feeling of teetering along the edge. 

Painted in January, the colour palette was inspired by sunlit walks in the snow.
