Summer drawing I (Lairig Ghru)

This series evolved from photographs and sketches made whilst on residency in the Cairngorms. The freedom to walk and explore new landscapes after lockdown resulted in a burst of new drawings and paintings of the immense forms of the corries and glens.

This series of drawings has a focus on composition and colour and how the complexity of experiences of landscape can be captured on a smaller scale.
