Collaborations

The Landscape of Craftsmanship was a collaboration with Scottish luxury bag brand, Strathberry.

"The collaboration takes inspiration from the muted pastels of Strathberry's Autumn Winter Collection - incorporating leather off-cuts from the bag making process to create a circular exhibition that captures the brand's inherent craftsmanship and the fragility of landscapes."

I’m inspired by Strathberry’s commitment to handcrafted items, and their recent repurposing of waste materials from the wine-making industry to create a leather alternative. This kind of circular, sustainable process is integral to my work and for this exhibition I’ve integrated some off cuts from Strathberry’s workshop. Stitching together these remnant textiles to create the base for painting, embeds the stories of these materials within the landscape of the work.
